Amala will only dispatch products to addresses in the UK. For international deliveries please contact us on 01782 436286 or by e-mailing for more information.

Charges for delivery are excluded in the product price – please see Shipping Costs (below) for details of delivery charges.

Every product on this site is delivered via UK Mail next day or My Hermes 2-3 working days standard service to UK mainland addresses (excluding the Scottish Highlands, UK Islands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and Ireland) all products ordered by this method will normally arrive within 2-4 working days.

Delivery Process

All deliveries require a signature from the customer for proof of delivery; however if alternative arrangements or a request is made for delivery without a signature (e.g. please leave in outhouse) then this will be at the customer’s risk, Amala Pet Foods will not accept any liability for lost or missing goods.

If you are out when delivery is attempted the courier will leave you a card notifying you of attempt of delivery and will re-attempt the following working day. Should this re-delivery fail our courier will hold your parcel in the depot for up to 7 days whilst you arrange a final delivery. Should you not arrange for this to be done you will be charged for re-delivery of your order.

Delivery Times

Subject to availability we will dispatch your order within two working days Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.

If your goods do not arrive within 5 working days please contact us and we trace your order.

In some circumstances it may take 7-10 working days for your goods to arrive. We cannot consider the goods missing until 10 days have passed.

Pallets usually take at least 5 working days to reach the destination.

Delivery Instructions

During the payment process you will have an option to leave instructions for the courier to leave the package in an alternative place. If this option is requested you take full responsibility for the package after delivery. Amala cannot be held responsible for any loss as a result.

Alternative Delivery Instructions By placing an order on this site you (or alternative person) agree to be at the delivery address to receive and sign for the consignment or provide alternative delivery instructions as listed below:.

  • Delivered to and signed for by a nearby neighbour or friend

  • To a place of work where the parcel can be received.

  • To an alternative address. Please note that should you request that the package be delivered to an alternative address then you must ensure that someone is available to sign for the consignment. Amala Pet Foods will not accept any responsible for issues which include travelling, loss or damage of any kind.

Delivery Failure

In circumstances where the courier has tried to deliver your consignment but due to no access or contact with you has decided that for whatever reason they can no longer deliver your parcel, they will return the package to the sender, if you would like the parcel re-sent out to you this will be at the cost of the customer. Amala do not accept any liability where the courier has tried but is unable to deliver the consignment to you.
